Mobile Strategy
(development of core functionality)
The next stage was the development of a mobile strategy. I began by mapping the user journey and then moved on to defining the application’s core functions. Initially, the most logical concept for me was to make AI-based interaction the main feature. However, as the process evolved, I realized that this approach alone would not be sufficient. I started to explore ways to integrate more “human” elements into the experience. Among the ideas I considered were creating a forum for user discussions, developing a platform for connecting people with similar challenges, or building a learning environment for online intercultural training.
Ultimately, this process led me to the format that combines technology and live human interaction.

The app has two key modes:Pair play — two people are presented with the same simulated intercultural situation and discuss in dialogue format how each of them would react based on their cultural experience. This helps to see different points of view in live communication.
Individual session — the user describes to the phone a situation in which they were misunderstood or encountered a lack of understanding. The response they receive is not generated by AI, but is selected from existing responses from other people, taking into account the cultural context.
In this way, the app creates a living archive of real human reactions, turning them into a resource for new users. It is not just a learning platform, but a safe space for exploring differences, empathy, and mutual understanding.
